Welsh Oak With The Swedish Blues, Dan Rees, 2008.
An ongoing project in which the artist plants a Welsh Oak tree and returns to the site once a year every year thereafter. Each year the artist will change the batteries in the Cd player lying in a box next to the tree allowing a fresh set of Blues melodies to accompany the oak for a short while and then go silent until the artists next visit.

During 4 weeks this summer a selection of Nordic galleries and artists are invited to present an exhibition in the two new exhibition spaces in Skärholmen - Gerlesborg during a short residency. The focus will be on site-specific installations in the surrounding area. During the summer about 50 artists from the Nordic countries will take part of the project.
A library will also be built up during the summer, where catalogues and books from the participating artists will be on display. We will also offer books from among others Fabrik, FUKT, noCUBE and Publikation( ).

ak28 (SE)
ak28 constitutes a collaborative effort between artists, architects and curators. We produce exhibitions, realise common external projects, and undertake individual works under the same roof. Our unique constellation permits us to work across disciplines, within the organisation as well as outside it – in these cases under the auspices of the group. Our work takes the form of an ongoing discussion, which also permeates the disposition of our space, in which we have chosen to combine common spaces, individual workspaces and exhibition room since 2003. ak28 offers not yet established, or for the Swedish art scene, unknown artists the opportunity to examine the modes of communication inherent to the solo exhibition. Simultaneously, we arrange seminars, screenings and releases. The practice of ak28 is process-orientated and takes shape through the experience acquired from each individual project. This knowledge adds to, and further develops, our organisation/establishment.

Landings (NO)
Landings is a new artist run project space for contemporary art situated in Vestfossen. On two levels of a total of 50m2, Landings will offer artists, curators and writers an independent space for research and discourse.
